Volunteer

Karele is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers who help keep our day-to-day work running smoothly. We actively encourage our clients to get involved too, as volunteering offers the chance to build confidence, learn new skills, and become part of our supportive community. Whether it’s horsemanship, admin, marketing, fundraising, or even cake baking, we welcome people with all kinds of talents to join us and make a meaningful difference.

Who can volunteer

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. If you have horse experience, that’s wonderful and 
incredibly valuable—but please don’t be put off if you don’t. There are many different ways to get involved at Karele, 
from supporting sessions and helping around the yard to behind-the-scenes roles that keep everything running smoothly. Equally, if you’re looking to build your confidence or gain more stable-hand experience, volunteering with us 
is a great opportunity to learn, develop skills, and be part of a supportive team.

Volunteering at Karele is incredibly rewarding, not only is it a great opportunity to get some horsey time, it is also lovely to contribute to the impact they clearly have on so many children and adults. Seeing children grow in confidence and try new things is wonderful and it is so clear what a lifeline of support Karele offers for a lot of people.
